By Olusegun Lawrence. Mr Mohammed Shuaibu, a clerk of the House Committee on Agricultural Production and Services, on Monday, slumped and died at the National Assembly complex, Abuja.
He was said to have slumped at about 12.00 hours while walking on a staircase, few minutes before commencement of the committee meeting.
Shuaibu, was instantly rushed to the National Assembly clinic where he was later confirmed dead by the doctors.
His remains have been taken to his hometown, Zaria, Kaduna state for burial.
The chairman of the committee, Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno, while speaking on the development said the clerk returned to Abuja from Zaria on Sunday ahead of a meeting of the committee.
He described him as a hard working person.
