Rep. Yusuf Gagdi (APC-Plateau) has constructed a 12.2 kilometers road in Kanam Local Government Area of the state.
Gagdi, representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal constituency of the state, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Jos.
The lawmaker said the project was not a constituency project, but his personal contribution toward the growth and development of his constituency.
He explained that the road would ease movement of goods and services within the locality, hence enhancing economic activities and improve its revenue.
“This road is not being constructed by government; I own it from start to finish.
“We are committed to serving the people, because i took an oath to represent my people well.
” I had a pact with the people, to deliver on dividends democracy to them and this I am committed to do even if it means using every resources at my disposal, “he said
Gagdi also said that the construction of 9.6 kilometers road at Pankshin had commenced and would soon be completed.
He promised to continue attracts quality projects that would have direct bearings on the lives of his constituents at all times. (NAN)
