The Management of Kano Pillars FC of Kano, says it is willing to release players planning to leave on transfer before the next season.
Rilwan Malikawa, the club’s Media Officer, said this in a statement on Sunday in Kano.
Malikawa urged players wishing to leave to contact the management for necessary action, as it was not interested in preventing them from leaving.
He said that the management has approved a two-week break for the players after rounding off the 2021/2022 football season.
“The two-weeks break, which starts from Saturday, will allow the players to rest and prepare well for the new season.
“The Management, headed by the Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Galadima, wishes the players and technical crew a successful break and urges them to start thinking of the way forward for the club,” Malikawa said.
He said that the management has accepted the relegation of the club from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NFPL) in good faith, in spite of the fact that it was painful. (NAN)
