…. As CAF Okays 60,000 Spectators

Determined to grind out a good result away from home, Super Eagles’ foes in the crucial FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 African qualifiers return leg tie, Black Stars of Ghana will arrive Nigeria on Monday.
Prompt News can confirm that the Ghanaian delegation comprising 25 players, technical crew including the newly recruited British Technical Advisor, Chris Houghton and members of Ghana Football Association (GFA) will arrive the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport , Abuja on Monday by 10 am local time aboard a chartered flight.
Just like the Super Eagles did in Kumasi, the Black Stars will depart Abuja immediately after the winner takes all match and head back to Kotoka International Airport, Accra on Tuesday.
According to the itinerary of the Black Stars sighted by our reporter, the team will train only once at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja by 6 pm on Monday, the same the Super Eagles trained once at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi before the first leg tie on Friday which ended 0-0.
Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved 60,000 spectators for the Nigeria versus Ghana World Cup playoffs second leg tie at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) made the request which was promptly granted by CAF after the continent’s soccer govering body also allowed maximum 40,000 capacity fans for the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday.
The overall winner of the two legs contest will proceed to Qatar 2022.
