One goal in each half of the match helped World Cup defending champions, France to beat Morocco 2-0 on Wednesday to set up a World Cup final showdown against Argentina led by Lionel Messi.
Theo Hernandez put the Les Blues ahead in the fifth minute after Morocco failed to clear their lines in one moment of madness while substitute Randal Kolo Muani doubled the French lead in the 79th minute.
All efforts by the Moroccans to fight back proved abortive inspite many chances that fell their way.
Morocco will on Saturday face Croatia, losers of Tuesday’s first semi-final match in Doha while the epic final between Argentina and France will hold on Sunday.
