Liverpool defeated Chelsea 2-1 to maintain top spot on the Premier League table on Sunday.
Mohamed Salah put the home team in front from the penalty spot in the 29th minute.
Chelsea levelled after the break as Nicolas Jackson was played through to score.
Liverpool however regained the lead few minutes later through Curtis Jones.
Jones got on the end of Salah’s low cross to beat visiting keeper Robert Sanchez from close range.
The Reds have 21 points from eight games, one more than second-placed Manchester City.
Prompt News reports that Chelsea stayed in sixth place with 14 points.
