With the Two- day Presidential Retreat for Ministers-designate and other Presidential Aides ending later today, there are noticeable anxieties on the faces of some of the appointees who are attending the occasion at the State House Conference Hall, Abuja.
The palpable anxiety on the faces of the attendees of the Abuja Retreat may not be unconnected with the none allocation of portfolios to each of the Ministers-designate by President Muhammadu Buhari who is following the footsteps of his predecessors.
Ministers-designate are only assigned portfolio days after they have been sworn in by the President.
Therefore, President will after the swearing in and inauguration of the cabinet tomorrow, Wednesday, release the portfolios of Ministers-designate attending the Abuja Retreat.
Until they are assigned their respective portfolios, anxiety will continue to mount on the Ministers-designate.
