KAA Gent defender Jordan Torunarigha has reflected on his debut with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Torunarigha made his debut for the three-time African champions in the 3-2 win against the Mambas of Mozambique last week.
The 26-year-old earned his first invitation for Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe in September.
The centre-back said it was a special moment for him to play for the three-time African champions.
“It was a very special moment and I’m really proud. Nigeria is a team with many top players and great characters that you enjoy being on the pitch with,”he told Transfermarkt. READ ALSO:

“We won, that’s always the most important thing. We would have liked to keep a clean sheet, but it was fun on the field. I hope the coach and my teammates were happy.”
