By Gracious Akujobi All Glo Premier League Pre-season tournament starting on Saturday, January 24 will be broadcast live on television by SuperSport, official broadcast partners of the League Management Company (LMC). The tournament will have three games on each Match Day.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the League Management Company (LMC), Salihu Abubakar clarified that in view of the broadcast requirements, the tournament now starts January 24th and the teams have all been communicated.
League champions, Kano Pillars, Enyimba International, Dolphins FC and Warri Wolves will be joined by two junior national teams, the U-23 and U-20 in the tournament that is usually organized to prepare clubs in the Glo Premier League chasing continental honors.
“We will have a total of five Match Days with rest days in between and conclude the tournament on Sunday, February 1”, stated Abubakar while making public the fixtures.
In the match schedule, the curtain raiser is a clash between Kano Pillars and Dolphins with Enyimba International squaring up against the Flying Eagles in the second fixture while the first Match Day will end with the clash between Warri Wolves and the U-23 Olympic team coached by Samson Siasia. Matches on all days will hold at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
