Former Arsenal midfielder Petit has urged the Gunners to sign Victor Osimhen this summer.
Petit stated the 25-year-old would be a perfect fit for his former club.
Arsenal are in the market for a new striker after falling to claim the title for the second consecutive season.
“I would love to see a player like Osimhen, for example, as a striker,” Petit told talkSPORT.
“Someone who can hold defenders and think differently in terms of attacking the spaces behind the defenders and being a big threat on set pieces. A physical presence as well, but someone who can speak the same football.
“I’ve been watching him since he was at Lille before he left for Napoli and it would fit perfectly for Arsenal.”
“I don’t know if Arsenal are going to buy him, but the first thing that they need is a striker.” READ ALSO:

Despite a disjointed season due to injury and international duty, Osimhen scored 17 goals in 32 games for Napoli last term.
The previous year, he scored 31 goals in 39 games to help Napoli to the Serie A title.
