Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro insists he wants to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with the team.
Peseiro will lead the Super Eagles to the 34th edition of the AFCON finals in Cote d’Ivoire next month.
The three-time champions are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
The Portuguese has remained steadfast in his goal of securing AFCON glory for Nigeria.
“My experience with the Nigerian national team is very good. Being part of African and Nigerian football is an interesting thing, and I cannot deny that,” said Peseiro as quoted by KORAPLUS. READ ALSO:

“I told everyone that I wanted to win the Africa Cup of Nations from the first moment I signed the contract with the Nigerian national team, and we study our opponents well in order to win, and this is what we seek to achieve.”
Cote d’Ivoire will host the 2023 AFCON finals from January 13 to February 11.
