The Peoples Democratic Party , PDP, Thursday, announced the suspension of Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, one of the Governorship Aspirants of the party in the August 28, 2017 Guber primary election in Anambra state.
According to the spokesperson for the party, Dayo Adeyeye, the governorship aspirant, Ubah refused to answer to a query issued to him by the National Caretaker Committee over his disparaging and unfounded allegations leveled against some leaders and members of the party on national television.
He said his case has consequently been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee for further action
Adeyeye stàted further, “In the same vein, the National Caretaker Committee also queried Senator Kashamu Buruji, a Senator representing Ogun East senatorial district at the National Assembly.
“Senator Kashamu denied the allegations leveled against him in the query and his matter has also been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee for further action.
“The Disciplinary Committee is given two weeks to report back to the National Caretaker Committee.
“Finally, the National Publicity Secretary/Acting National Secretary announced the appointment of the former National Legal Adviser, Barr. Victor Kwon as the Special Adviser to the National Chairman, Senator Ahmed Makarfi on Legal Matters.
“The appointment is with immediate effect.”
