The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prof Wale Oladipo has denied news report that he admitted receiving money from former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd).
“Before and after the election, I have no financial dealings with the Office of the National Security Adviser or any other government official, “Prof Oladipo said in a statement on Monday.
According to him, few monetary transactions he handled were within the ambit of his official duties as the National Secretary of the party, adding that “at no point did he collect money from Colonel Dasuki or any other government official.
“The report is clearly politically motivated. I affirm that all my actions and communications are motivated by highest ideals of patriotism, transparency and commitment to national reformation”, he said.
