Adriana Leal da Silva is looking forward to a difficult battle against the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the 2024 Olympics Games.
The Orlando Pride striker also declared that it is important for La Selecao to start their quest for a podium finish with a win.
“This first game is crucial. In fact, it will always be like this. In any case, we need to have a lot of concentration and focus for this debut. And take it step by step,” she said following the team’s arrival in Bordeaux.
Brazil and Nigeria will clash at the Stade Bordeaux on Thursday, PNO Sports.
It will be the first meeting between both countries at the Olympics since La Selecao defeated Super Falcons 3-1 in Beijing 2008.
