The Oyo State Governorship Elections Petitions Tribunal sitting in Ibadan on Tuesday, dismissed the petition filed by the governorship candidate of the Accord Party, Rashidi Ladoja. against Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Consequently, the Tribunal upheld the election of Mr. Ajimobi, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Governor of Oyo state.
Mr. Ladoja, had petitioned the Tribunal to challenge the declaration of Ajimobi as the winner of the April 11, 2015, governorship election.
The Accord Party candidate had urged the Tribunal to nullify the outcome of the election.
