FC Pyunik forward Yusuf Otubanjo has scooped the UEFA Europa Conference League Goal of the Week award, Promptnewsonline.com reports.
Otubanjo scored a superb goal in the Armenian club 2-0 win against Slovan Bratislava on Thursday night.
The Nigerian beat three other players to the individual accolade.
The goal was Otubanjo’s first in the UEFA Europa Conference League for Pyunik this season.
It was the first time an Armenian club will record a win in the group stage of UEFA club competition.
Otubanjo joined Pyunik from Ararat-Armenia this summer.
Pyunik will face Lithuanian club, Zalgiris in their next game in the competition.
