The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command, Agboola A. Sunday, has paid a courtesy visit on the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, (Ojaja II) and sought for his support to enable the Corps deliver on its mandates in the state.
Commandant Agboola while appreciating His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, (Ojaja II), for his warm reception said his support has helped the Command in successfully carrying out its mandates and fight against crime in the State.
He used the visit to seek for more support from His Royal Majesty at this crucial time of the gubernatorial election in the state.
I am here and ready to workout the full mandate of the Corps in Osun State and with your support, success is within reach and achievable, Agboola said.
Furthermore, he assured His Royal Majesty of excellent service delivery by all officers and men of the Command and his untiring dedication to the protection of lives and property of the citizens of the State.
Responding, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, (Ojaja II), assured the Commandant of his full support and prayers, adding that Osun is a peaceful state and tasked Agboola to maintain peace in all the communities.
The Royal Father charged the Commandant to effectively carry out his mandates in safeguarding the communities, get closer to the public, urged him to be a team player.
He assured the Corps of his commitment to security and peace always and wished the Commandant well in his new assignments.
