By Victoria Hanson The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will on Thursday at the 2016 edition of the Business Eyes Magazine Annual Roundtable lead other panelists to analyze the nation’s economic outlook and business imperatives for the year 2016.
Holding at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi-Lagos, the forum will have as panel discussants, the Minister for Power, Works & Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), the Minister for Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, Minister for Finance, Kemi Adeosun and the Minister for Budget & National Planning, Mr Udo Udoma.
Other panelist expected at the roundtable forum which has its theme as “Nigeria Economy 2016: Charting the Way Forward” are, the Managing Director, Standard Chartered Bank, Bola Adesola, Managing Director, Financial Derivatives Company Ltd, Mr. Bismarck Rewane, a member of the Monetary Policy Committee, Mr. Doyin Salami and the Chief Executive Officer of Economic Derivatives, Mr. Ayodele Teriba.
Speaking about the event, the host and editor of Business Eyes Magazine, Mrs. Ofuma Agali noted that, the roundtable discussion will be gathering of stakeholders, economic experts and analysts, captains of Nigerian industries, regulatory agencies and government officials’ to brainstorm on the nation’s economy with likely expectations, reforms and changes that is expected in 2016.
“The essence of the summit is to provide the media and other stakeholders in the Nigerian social and business environment with all relevant facts and figures that would enable them make informed decisions on the way forward for Nigeria Economy in 2016”. A communiqué would be issued at the end of the summit and presented to government for consideration and adoption, she added.
