Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has rubbished reports his client is set to join Premier League giants Chelsea on loan.
The Athletic reported on Tuesday that Chelsea are working on a deal that would see the Nigeria international join the Blues on loan with option to buy this summer.
The publication also reported that Belgium international Romelu Lukaku would move to Napoli on a permanent transfer as part of the deal.
Calenda has however debunked the reports labelling it as “fake news”.
“I’ve read about unfounded imaginary trades involving Victor, shipped around like a package ready for delivery. But remember that this “package” is the top scorer of the third scudetto in Naples’ history.
Respect and no more fake news!,, Calenda wrote on X.
Osimhen, who has a €130m release clause in the contract he signed with Napoli last December is expected to leave the Partenopei this summer, PNO Sports reports.
