Former Napoli star Gianfranco Zola has said Victor Osimhen would be a perfect signing for Premier League club Chelsea.
Chelsea are reportedly leading the race to sign Osimhen from current Serie A champions, Napoli next summer.
The Nigeria international will have one year remaining on his contract next summer and Napoli may be forced to sell him.
Zola, who was a popular figure during his time at Chelsea believes Osimhen will be a good addition to the Chelsea squad.
“I rate him as one of the top strikers around at the moment, for his energy, for his ability to score and also play with the opposition. I’m sure he can be a success in the Premier League as well for sure,” Zola told Obionepodcast.
“Of course the way, you know for what I see with Chelsea I think a player with this quality will do very well. He will change a lot of things for Chelsea to the positive in my opinion but again as I said I truly believe that it was a right thing to stay again one more year with Napoli.” READ ALSO:

“He has done extremely well but what is more important is to confirm what you’ve done the previous year. After you’ve done so well you are tested mentally and with a character, you need to confirm and do even better. I think it will be a good test for him.”
