Victor Osimhen got off to a winning start for Galatasaray as they thrashed Caykur Rizespor 5-0 in a Turkish Super Lig clash.
Osimhen had decent game despite not getting on the score sheet, Prompt News reports.
The Nigeria international saw his header in the 15th minute off a cross by Dries Mertens miss target narrowly.
In the 42nd minute, the striker failed to get a good connection to the ball inside the box.
He was then denied his debut goal in the 77th minute by the Rizespor goalkeeper.
Osimhen was in action for the the entire duration of the game.
Fellow Nigeria stars Ibrahim Olawoyin and David Akintola featured for the visiting team.
