Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has linked up with French Ligue 1 outfit, Lille Metrople on a five-year contract.
Osimhen joined Lille from Belgian Jupiler League club, Sporting Charleroi.
The 20-year-old comes in as a direct replacement for Portuguese forward Rafael Leao who is on his way to Italian giants, AC Milan.
The young striker arrived France on Tuesday for his medical and has now put pen to paper on a long term deal with the Les Dogues.
Sporting Charleroi are expected to rake in €12m plus €2m in bonuses for the former U-17 World Cup winner.
The Belgian club activated their option to acquire Osimhen at the end of last season after he scored 20 goals in 36 appearances for them during his loan spell from VFL Wolfsburg of Germany.
Lille finished as runners-up behind Paris Saint Germain in the French League last season and will compete in the UEFA Champions League in the 2019/2020 season.
Osimhen who was part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt is expected to continue his summer holiday before beginning training with his new teammates.
