Frank Onyeka’s first-ever Premier League goal helped Brentford secured a hard-fought 2-0 win against Sheffield United on Saturday.
The victory ended a run of nine Premier League games without a win for the Bees.
It also moved Thomas Frank’s side out of the relegation zone to ninth position on the table.
Brentford took the lead in the 63rd minute through an Ollie Arblaster’s own goal.
Onyeka was introduced in place of Mathias Jensen on the stroke of 90 minutes.
The Nigeria international fired home from close range three minutes.
It was the midfielder’s first Premier League goal for the London club in three seasons.
