Genrosys Technology, operators of online courier, Speedie, says the delivery service will provide employment opportunities for no fewer than 1,000 dispatch riders in the next six months
Mr Mark Odeigah, Senior Partner, Genrosys Technology, gave the assurance in an interview with newsmen in Lagos.
Odeigah said that 25 dispatch riders had already been employed and 38 undergoing training and monitoring.
According to him, the organisation plans to empower startups and entrepreneurs in delivery services through seminar and workshops.
The organisation’s Head of Business, Mr Ajibola Tiamiu, noted that Speedie was registered and licensed by Nigeria Postal Service.
Tiamiu said that the app was a monitoring platform that would solve problems associated with delivery services.
“This app, when downloaded on your phone, will enable users and dispatch riders to have personal contacts and achieve safety of goods,’’ he said.
