Former Governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni has urged Nigerians, especially Ekiti people to remain prayerful and be hopeful for better deal from God in 2014, adding that; “In this New Year, the will of God will prevail on our dear State, Ekiti.”
In his New Year message signed by his Media Aide, Lere Olayinka, the former governor said; “the people’s goodwill and support towards him in the year 2013 has further reinforced his commitment to serving the State wholeheartedly.
He thanked the people of the State for their support, saying that he was particularly happy that the people have now seen the difference between a government ran by honest and sincere people, who were prepared for governance and those who got to power by judicial manipulation.
He maintained that; “No matter how tick a cloud is, there will always be sunshine at the end.”
“I therefore wish to congratulate the entire people of Ekiti State for seeing this New Year in good health and it is my prayer that the good Lord will make the year a prosperous one for us all.
While expressing his gratitude to God for His mercies in 2013, Oni noted that; “in spite of all things, God must be praised and we must continue to give glorify His name.”
