Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has been handed a one match ban and fined €25,000 for anti-sporting conduct.
The sanction was ditched out by the German Football Federation (DFB).
Boniface showed Stuttgart players his middle finger after Bayer Leverkusen’s German Super Cup win on Saturday.
The Nigeria international will miss a German Cup game as punishment for the offence.
The 23-year-old is however eligible for Xabi Alonso’s side opening Bundesliga game of the season against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The striker and Bayer Leverkusen have already accepted the verdict of the DFB. – PNO Sports.
