The Special Adviser to Governor On Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye has hailed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for appointing her as Co Chairman Central of women committee into the campaign council
Dr Osamaye, reacting to her appointment and that of other Ondo State women into the APC 2024 gubernatorial election campaign council, expressed her gratitude to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the milestone achievement.
She stated that by involving women in prominent roles within the campaign council, it sends a powerful message about their capabilities and potential as leaders.
It also provides a platform for women to contribute their unique perspectives and ideas to the decision-making process.
She said ” women’s inclusion in politics leads to more effective governance and better representation of diverse interests.
“It is crucial for society to acknowledge and appreciate the achievements of women in political spaces, as it encourages greater participation and paves the way for future generations of women leaders”.
She also vowed on behalf of the women that the womenfolk will justify the governor’s confidence and ensure effective and fruitful Mobilisation across the state for his victory in November.
One of the key benefits of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s decision to appoint women to the campaign council is the diverse perspectives they bring to the table. Dr Seun Osamaye, along with the other women in the council, offers a unique viewpoint that complements that of their male counterparts.
As the Co-Chairman Central (Women Committee, APC Ondo State Gubernatorial Campaign Council), Dr Seun Osamaye’s experience and expertise in grassroots mobilization and community engagement, for example, will be invaluable in ensuring that the campaign reaches all corners of Ondo State.
As a woman, she can also provide insights and strategies for effectively engaging with women voters, who make up a significant portion of the electorate.
Moreover, her inclusion and other women in the campaign council reflects Governor Aiyedatiwa’s recognition of the importance of diverse perspectives in formulating comprehensive policies and strategies.
The council will benefit greatly from the breadth of experiences and knowledge that these women bring, ultimately leading to more effective and inclusive governance, she further stated.
