HRM Kabiyesi Oba (Dr) Yussuf Adebori has commended Okarufe Leadership Association (OLA) for its exemplary intellectual and financial contributions to the overall development of Okaland.
“OLA always adds colour and candour to Oka Day celebrations and other communal deliberations.
And Oka people, both young and old, appreciate your positive engagement in the affairs of our dear town.
We will continue to pray for prosperity and unity for all of you”, said the royal father who was on brief visit to the nation’s capital, Abuja.
Earlier on, the leader of the homage-paying delegation, outgoing chairman Dr (Sir) Ayodele Ategbole, eulogised the Olubaka of Okaland for his charisma, humility and amiability.
Aside, the August Visitor also rubbed minds with OLA Interim EXCO led by Mr. Charles Olorunda.
The Oba’s vivacious Olori was also at hand to welcome OLA reps on Thursday 30 May. Others present were: Barrister Ade Ajanaku, Mrs. Lizzy Olorunmonu and Alaba Yusuf.
