Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu is set to pen a contract with Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor.
Ogu will become a free agent next month after opting not to extend his contract with Isreali side, Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
According to a report in Turkish online news outlet, Fanatik . com.tr, the Nigeria international has agreed personal terms with Trabzonspor and will sign a contract with the club in the next couple of days.
The 31-year-old who joined B e’er Sheva in 2014 from Portuguese side, Academica scored 13 goals in 140 league appearances for the club.
He won three Isreali Premier League titles with Be’er Sheva and two Super Cup titles.
Ogu arrival will increase the number of Nigerians at Trabzonspor to three with his former Hapoel Be’er Sheva teammate, Anthony Nwaekeme and Ogenyi Onazi already key members of the side.
