Super Eagles and Cardiff City new signing Peter Odemwingie and other top Premiership footballers have promised to wear rainbow-coloured bootlaces at matches this weekend to show their backing for an anti- homophobia campaign.
Premier League club, Everton confirmed last night that their players- led by captain and England defender Phil Jagielka will wear the laces against West Ham on Saturday.
Odemwingie tweeted: ‘I will be wearing rainbow laces this weekend. The game is everyone!’
Other players supporting are Fulham goalkeeper David Stovkdale, Mark Hudson . Others are ex- Crystal Palace forward Mark Bright and former England internationals Matt Le Tisser and Stan Collymore.
