Chief Willie Obiano, the immediate past governor of Anambra has extended warm felicitations to his successor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo on his second year in office.
Obiano, who conveyed his message in a statement signed by Mr Tony Nezianya, his Chief Publicist, lauded Soludo for his strides in road construction, education, and healthcare.
While urging Soludo to sustain the good works, Obiano appealed to the governor to address the excesses of some government officials in the execution of their duties.
He emphasised the importance of responsible governance and encouraged Soludo to ensure that all officials upheld these principles in their work.
Obiano urged Soludo to pay attention to several legacy projects left behind by his administration, particularly the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri.
”This is a significant infrastructure, and its proper maintenance will provide economic opportunities and improved transportation for Anambra people.

”Do not abandon these projects but continue their maintenance and development in order to benefit the people of Anambra.
”I wish you success in your remaining two years of your first term and accept my best regards,” he said.
