Chippa United goalkeeper, Valentine Nwabili is hopeful of making Nigeria’s squad to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nwabili has hugged the headlines following his impressive displays for the Chilli Boys in the South African League this season.
The 27-year-old has kept six clean sheets in 12 league appearances in the DStv Premiership this term.
The shot stopper is being closely monitored by Nigeria head coach Jose Peseiro.
Nwakali said he will be delighted to be in the plane to Cote d’Ivoire 2023.
“I wish to get a call-up but it’s not compulsory. It’s not by my performance because everyone is doing well in different clubs, other goalkeepers have been doing well in their clubs,” he told iDiski Times.
“If you are called up to your national team, kudos to you but I wish to represent my own country. I wish to wear my country’s jersey. I wish to wear it again. READ ALSO:
