Stanley Nwabali is now a chief in his hometown, Egbema Kingdom, Rivers State.
The chieftaincy title was confered on the Super Eagles goalkeper by the traditional ruler of Egbema Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Nzeobi Evaritus Amida.
Amida conferred on Nwabali the title following his impressive performance for the Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The traditional ruler said the shot stopper was honoured for his bringing honour to Egemba and Onelga Kingdom.
It would be recalled that Nwabali was also rewarded with N20M by the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara. READ ALSO:

The 27-year-old was also bestowed with the honour of Distinguished Service Star of Rivers State.
The Chippa United shot stopper was part of the Super Eagles squad that came second at the AFCON 2023 finals.
