Remo Stars claimed the bragging rights once again as they defeated South West rivals, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan 2-0 in Ikenne on Wednesday, reports Prompt News.
The home team took the lead following an own goal in the 60th minute.
Godwin Odibo then put the game beyond the visitors with a deft finish 20 minutes from time.
Remo Stars extended their unbeaten streak to three games following the win.
The Sky Blue Stars also climbed to first position on the Group A table with nine points.
Shooting Stars are still searching for their first win of the campaign after drawing their first two games.
The Oluyole Warriors will welcome El-Kanemi Warriors to the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan for their next game on Sunday.
Remo Stars will be in the road to Bendel Insurance in Benin City .
