Sequel to the adjustment in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 3 fixtures, the mid-week match involving Bendel Insurance FC of Benin and Plateau United of Jos has been rescheduled to Saturday.
According to a circular by the League Management, the match will kick off at 4 p.m. at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
The two teams met twice last season with the Benin side, picking four points out of the six available in the two legged encounter.
Insurance would look forward to replicate the home victory they recorded in Benin before they went to Jos to pull a draw.
The Benin ‘Arsenals’, as Insurance are fondly called by their fans and admirers, last weekend began the 2023/24 football season with a 2-0 win over another arch-rivals, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan.
Insurance are a match behind due to their involvement in the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup, but ousted by RS Berkane of Morocco. (NAN). READ ALSO:
