Brown Ideye scored for the second consecutive game as Enyimba ended their winless streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) courtesy of a 2-1 win over Nasarawa United in Aba on Wednesday.
Joseph Atule put the Aba giants ahead late in the first half
Nasarawa United fought back with Anas Yusuf netting the equaliser in the 58th minute.
Substitute Ideye netted the winning goal for Enyimba two minutes after the hour mark.
The former Super Eagles striker has now scored two goals in three appearances across all competitions for the People’s Elephant.
Enyimba climbed to seventh on the table following the win.
