Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Ezeonu recently expressed her disappointment with two young ladies who attended an audition inappropriately dressed.
In a video making rounds on social media on Wednesday, the actress reprimanded the ladies for showing up without bras and wearing crop tops. Ezeonu, who was serving as a judge at the audition, did not hold back her disapproval of their attire.
The video, shared by TikTok user #mrdoingscartel, captured Ezeonu warning the participants that dressing in such a manner was unacceptable, especially for a professional audition.
She firmly stated that she would disqualify anyone who appeared at an audition dressed inappropriately.
“Any day I’m on an audition panel and someone comes dressed like this, I will disqualify them immediately,” Ezeonu said.
She questioned the ladies’ intentions, asking who they were trying to impress, and highlighted that such dressing undermines the seriousness of the profession.
“Who are you trying to impress? This is why people don’t take us seriously. I’m a serious-minded actor, and even when I was your age, I never dressed like this.
“Walking into an audition without a bra and in a crop top is completely wrong. It’s unacceptable,” the actress emphasized.
