A former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro was on Thursday granted bail on self-recognition by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
However, his co-accused, a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Mrs Anastasia Nwobia, and the Director of Procurement in the ministry, Mr Felix Alabayemi, were granted bail in the sum of 100 million Naira each.
In addition, they were asked to provide one sureties each in like sum, who must not be below the rank of a director in public service.
The Judge also ordered the three accused persons to deposit their travel documents with the court.
Mrs Nwobia, who was earlier granted an administrative bail by the EFCC and subsequently by the court on the grounds that she was breastfeeding, is to continue on administrative bail, pending the fulfilment of her bail conditions.
Mr. Moro is being arraigned by the EFCC, on an 11-count charge of advance fee fraud, money laundering and breach of Public Procurement Act to the tune of 676.6 million Naira.
Trial has been adjourned to April 27.
