Nigeria’s image amongst the comity of nations have received a big boost as Nigeria-born Director General of World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is currently robbing shoulders with World Leaders at G20 Summit in Rome, Italy.
Okonjo-Iweala was amongst the World Leaders like United States President, Joe Biden; France President Emmanuel Macron and the out-going German Chancellor, Mrs. Angela Merkel who posed for a photo session with health experts and care providers who appeared in their attires for the photo session before the commencement of three hours discussions of the Leaders which will center on Economy and Health in the face of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
The WTO Director General was Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance and later Foreign Affairs has been very visible at the world stage since she assumed the leadership of the world trade body few months ago.
The G20 Summit will discuss among others, Climate Change and Covid-19 pandemic.
