The National Rescue Movement, NRM, says Nigeria has recorded notable achievements under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A statement signed by the National Chairman of the NRM, Ambassador Isaac Chigozie Udeh in Abuja notes that under the stewardship of various ministers in President Tinubu’s administration, Nigeria has witnessed notable advancements in different sectors.
According to the statement, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has driven significant improvements in infrastructure and urban planning in Abuja, enhancing the living conditions for residents and boosting business opportunities through strategic development projects.
The statement stresses that yhe the Works Ministry led by Sen David Umahi, has made remarkable strides in improving the nation’s infrastructure which includes completing the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, launching a national road maintenance framework, and initiating the reconstruction of the Third Mainland Bridge, all contributing to better connectivity and economic growth.
“Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo of the Ministry of Interior has bolstered internal security with enhancements in law enforcement, immigration reform, and the civil defense, significantly strengthening the nation’s ability to maintain order and protect its citizens” Ambassador Udeh adds.
“In addition, Festus Keyamo has led the Ministry of Aviation to new heights with extensive upgrades to airport infrastructure, rigorous improvements in air safety, and initiatives to boost industry growth, enhancing both the global standing and domestic efficiency of Nigeria’s aviation sector”.
It emphasizes that the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development headed by Dr. Dele Alake, has effectively promoted sustainable mining and attracted significant investment, increasing the sector’s contribution to the national economy.
“Similarly, Adebayo Olawale Edun, guiding the Ministry of Finance, has implemented strategic financial management and revenue generation policies that have reinforced economic stability and fostered sustainable growth” he notes.
According to the statement The Ministry of Justice, led by Lateef Fagbemi, has prioritized upholding judicial independence, combating corruption, and advancing legal reforms, significantly strengthening the rule of law across the nation in conformity with the renewed hope agenda.
It states that Under Prof. Tahir Mamman, the Ministry of Education has enhanced educational policies, infrastructure, and curriculum development, which led to improvement in the quality and accessibility of education.
“Ahmad Musa Dangiwa has successfully addressed housing challenges through the Ministry of Housing by promoting affordable housing and sustainable urban development, substantially reducing the housing deficit”.
“The Ministry of Women Affairs, under Uju Ohaneye, has advanced initiatives supporting gender equality and women empowerment, significantly impacting the lives of women and girls across the country”.
According to Ambassador Udeh, the helmsman of sports Ministry Senator John Enoh, has championed the development of sports infrastructure and athlete support, promoting widespread participation and elevating Nigeria’s presence on the international sports stage.”
Udeh however notes that with these Notable Achievements the Ministry of Information, led by Alhaji Mohammed Idris, needs improvement in communicating government policies and achievements to the public.
“Regular press briefings and accurate information dissemination are essential for transparency and public trust” He states.
It adds that the Ministry of Youths, led by Dr.Jamila Bio Ibrahim, has been quiet, leaving stakeholders concerned.
“The ministry should prioritize transparency and public engagement, leveraging digital platforms to connect with young Nigerians and address their concerns.”Udeh opines. READ ALSO:

The NRM Chair says the Ministry of Power’s recent tariff hike announcement by Mr. Adebayo Adelabu has caused concern among small business owners.
“The minister’s communication approach was unclear, adding to the confusion. A more thoughtful and empathetic approach is crucial to support small industries and cushion the impact of the tariff hike.”
To this end, Udeh described the government’s efforts as a demonstration of a robust governance approach, but called for more dissemination of information to ensure transparency, accountability, and public trust.
