President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that Nigeria and Zambia will deepen collaboration for the good of their peoples and benefit of the African continent.
Mr Femi Adesina, the President’s spokesman in a statement, said Buhari gave the assurance when he received a Special Envoy of the Zambian President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, at the State House, Abuja, on Thursday.
He added that the two countries would explore further areas of collaboration for the betterment of their peoples.
The Special Envoy, Joseph Malanji, who is Zambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, thanked Nigeria for her “big brother role in ECOWAS and the African continent,” stressing that “equity is when strong ones strengthen the weak ones.”
