By Gracious Akujobi Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Committee rose from its meeting Tuesday in Abuja, recommending that Stephen Keshi be reengaged as Super Eagles head Coach.
Chairman of the committee, Felix Anyansi Agwu said the meeting after a thorough brainstorming session resolved that Keshi’s contract be renewed to continue from where he stopped.
According to him, it is now left for the NFF board to take a final decision, adding that Keshi is a good coach and that there is nothing wrong in re-engaging him.
“Keshi has done well and there is nothing wrong in recommending him to lead the Super Eagles. We have done our bit, it is now left for the Federation Executive Committee to decide his being re-engaged
“All issues concerning who would be the Super Eagles coach will soon be laid to rest and Nigerians will be happy with what we have done and recommended
“We also discussed the qualifications in Under-17, Under-20 and other national teams as well as the issue of Keshi’s contract. All these were discussed and we have made our recommendations for the board to decide” Anyansi Agwu stated.
