By Harry Awurumibe Tragedy struck at the Nigeria Football Federation in the early hours of Wednesday as hoodlums killed one of the senior staff in his house in Abuja.
Mr. Ibrahim Abubakar, the NFF Head of Protocol was shot dead on his bed in the unholy hours of Wednesday when the invaders came calling at his Kado Estate area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Ibrahim popularly called Ibro or IB by colleagues and admirers was said to have been shot dead through his bedroom window by his killers who also killed his security guard earlier on.
Ibrahim’s remains have been moved to his Kaduna home where he will be buried today according to Islamic rites.
Staffers at the NFF Glass House Secretariat this morning wore mournful looks as they were seen in groups discussing the untimely demise of their beloved colleague whom many say touched their lives.
