Super Eagles head coach Finidi George has rejected the choice of Daniel Amokachi and Emmanuel Amuneke as his assistants.
Finidi’s appointment was confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) this week.
There is however still the need to appoint his assistants and other members of the backroom staff.
Amokachi and Amuneke are among the two names reportedly penciled down as assistant coaches to the new gaffer.
The duo also applied for the Super Eagles head coach job.
Finidi is however not willing to work with either of the two, according to a report in SCORENigeria. READ ALSO:

The 53-year-old wants to pick his own assistants rather than work with the two.
The NFF has previously announced that the new Super Eagles coach will be given the free hand to pick his assistants.
