A recent promotional campaign for a film has generated significant backlash directed at Nollywood actors Yemi Solade and Sanusi Izihaq, popularly referred to as Apa.
The controversy was triggered when their fellow actor, Rotimi Salami, posted a video on Instagram that featured Yemi and Apa in a romantic scene from the film “5 Alive.”
In this particular scene, the two actors portrayed lovers, with Yemi expressing affection towards Apa through gestures such as kissing him on the cheek and holding him closely.
While the intention behind the scene was to highlight the actors’ chemistry and dynamic interaction, it instead provoked a considerable uproar on social media.
