By Olusegun Lawrence The National Assembly has said that the 2016 Appropriation Bill of N6.08 trillion will be passed on March 17, 2016.
Mr. Abdulmumuni Jibrin, who chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday.
He said the Appropriation Committees of both the Senate and House had received reports of budget defence of Ministries, Departments and Agencies from the various standing committees.
According to Jubrin, the Committees of both Chambers will meet with the Ministers of Finance and Budget and National Planning, Central Bank Governor, the Accountant General of the Federation and Director General of Budget Office for final clarifications and harmonization of positions.
