Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa state has reacted to the news of the passing away of his Senior Special Assistant on Development Control, Arc. Stanley Buba, who died in the early hours of Friday, describing it as a painful loss.
In a statement signed by the Cheif Press Secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Addra, he described the death of Buba as not only a painful personal loss, but a loss to the people of Akwanga local government and the state at large.
“Arc. Buba was a committed community and youth leader, grassroots mobiliser, seasoned politician and a fearless lover of our dear state whose selfless service will be sorely missed,” he said.
The Governor, while expressing his condolence to the immediate family of the deceased, the All Progressives Congress (APC ) family, and the entire state, prayed God to rest the soul of Stanley Buba and give all the courage to bear the loss.
The deceased was a two-term Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Of the state and former State Caretaker Chairman of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
