Victor Osimhen insists he will soon start banging in the goals for Galatasaray.
Osimhen fired blanks for the third consecutive game in Galatasaray’s UEFA Europa League 3-1 victory over PAOK Thessaloniki on Wednesday night.
The 25-year-old however registered an assist in the encounter.
The story would have been different had Ghana international Baba Rahman not diverted his header into his own net.
The Nigeria international however believed he is close to scoring his first goal for the club.
“Unfortunately, it was an own goal again. I feel it, my goal is very close. The most important thing is for Galatasaray to win,” he told the club’s official website.
” I would also like to thank the fans. We need to continue winning in the league and in Europe.”
Osimhen also said that he gets along well with his teammates in the same position.
“We have a very good relationship with Mauro Icardi. He is also a leader. Michy Batshuayi is a very good character,” he added.
” I am very happy to be at Galatasaray. We help each other as a team. If I am not there, they are there. We will continue to win as a team.”
