Nigeria striker Terem Moffi scored his 50th Ligue 1 goal but ended up on the losing side as OGC Nice fell to a 2-1 home defeat to Nantes.
Moffi cancelled out Matthis Abline’s opening goal for Nantes from spot on 72 minutes.
It was the 24-year-old’s 10th goal of the season and his fourth since his return from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Last season, he hit a career-high 18 goals in Ligue 1.
Egypt international, Mostafa Mohamed scored the winning goal for Nantes from another penalty in 78th minute.
Nice remain in fifth position on the table with 43 points from 27 games.
