This movie, streaming on the Yorubaplus channel, is a story of a young woman’s struggle against societal prejudice and her dark past.
Produced by Egbetokun Bukola Arike and directed by Kayode Adebayo Alubarika, “Itan Mi” (which translates to “My Story” in English) stars Julliet Jatto as the lead character – a woman who uses a wheelchair and is unfairly branded as an omen of misfortune.
The story takes an interesting turn when her best friend’s brother develops a dangerous obsession with her, leading to a passionate affair. As the tension mounts, long-buried secrets threaten to resurface
